This is my third to fourth time here. I usually sit at the bar, their food is good every time! Service is great.

Omg... what a place for chicken fried steak. Hand breaded and very delicious. Should not have eaten it all but I couldn't help myself. Eggs cooked well, the only issue is they must use oil to cook the hash browns in as they had a greasy taste that made them off putting. Still very good and will be back for sure. Probably won't get the hash browns. Coffee was very good and the gentleman that went around serving it was very attentive.

Love a breakfast place with some great service and speed. Place was packed and popping! It's a well oiled machine. I'd never been here before and ordered the center cut country ham. When the waitress sat the plate down I said "holy moly!!!" My hand is in the pic for a size reference (I can palm a basketball). Largest hunk of ham I've ever had... and I admit I couldn't finish it. Each and every bite was delicious.

Time to add to the stack of reviews on why I come here practically every other day at 6:00 AM. First, it's local. That's right, it's not a chain. Not even a local franchise. This is it. Ogie's one and only. The servers and the cooks have been there for decades. The patrons that go are loyal. You'll often see the servers sit down and converse with the customers. It's friendly and welcoming. And zero pressure to vacate a table even when it becomes extremely busy. Secondly, the food service. All drinks are practically unlimited refills. You want a second large cup of OJ to go? Here, have one. Coffee until you're wide wake? Another one on the house. Don't want hash? Substitute it with fruits. Don't want the buttery toast or pancake? Get another egg. Want more bacon? Ask. Ogie's is West Valley City's best breakfast. Skip IHOP, Denny's, and Dee's. Here, you actually feel like family.

Not a whole lot I can add here that hasn't already been said. Ogie's is a WVC and Utah institution. The interior doesn't try to impress in the way that no great diner does. The food and history speaks for itself. Ogie's isn't purely nostalgia driven either - their food is several steps above decent diner fare. The special burrito is a classic but this time I went with the Ogie's special. I'm glad I did because their bacon really is something special. Like I have many times before, I'll be back eventually. Hopefully soon.

I've had this placed booked marked. We were doing a volunteer service with our friends and they said he let's go! So it was perfect. Walked in on a Friday late morning 11am. Got seated right away. It was still packed out despite the time and being sat down quickly. We got menus coffee, juice, hot chocolate. They have different creamers if you ask for it. Hazelnut/ vanilla Coffee was meh tasted watered down. wish the coffee was better. They do come by often to fill your cup up. But I hate when it tastes like water. I notice a lot of breakfast places in Utah have weak coffee. We sat for about 15-20 months before the waitress coming to take our order. Yikes! didn't even know who our waitress was. Maybe they were short staffed, I ordered simple eggs bacon hash-brown and sourdough toast My husband ordered a burrito. The food took another 20 min or more. Kinda of surprising for breakfast since usually easier to cook and no one had any crazy meals like pancakes or French toast. I enjoyed my meal. The sourdough toast was not sourdough to me. Maybe she grabbed white bread instead? The bacon was thick and good. Hash-browns were crispy on the outside. I had over easy eggs my husband really liked his breakfast burrito,- enough for left overs! It was huge! One thing was like ugh really. the waitress came to refill our coffee and it spilled a little on the table and she said oh sorry and tried to use her hand to clean it! I couldn't help but to laugh and my friend immediately grabbed a napkin to wipe it. Another table behind us had asked about their kids food and the waitress said I'm sorry I'm not cooking but it's coming. The table was waiting a long time sounded like. Our friends who come regularly said it never takes long to order or get your food. Again maybe it was short staffed. People kept coming and even take out orders were constantly being picked up, I would come back.

My husband and I love this place! It's by far our favorite breakfast spot. Coffee and drinks are always kept filled and their food is not only delicious but well priced and great portions. The servers are always nice and down to earth. The place is always filled with people which to me is a really great sign that the food is awesome. This is one of the few places you can order hot chocolate and get 1 refill included.
